Nighthawk Technologies is the home of the biofeedback sessions in Sedona, Arizona. At our studio, we feature many biofeedback machines, and we offer one-hour sessions where clients are able to come in and utilize our machines.

During a biofeedback session, you will come in and have electrodes attached to your skin. These work as sensors that monitor your heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and muscle activity. During a session, one of our biofeedback therapists will help you to learn relaxation and meditation exercises that will allow you to reduce stress and control your various body reactions.

In our sessions, we use different types of biofeedback to monitor different functions.

Thermal feedback – This will be used to measure the temperature of the skin. This is often used to monitor headaches.

Neurofeedback – This will be used to measure brainwaves. This is often used to monitor epilepsy and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Electromyogram – This will be used to measure various muscle activities. This is often used to monitor headaches, anxiety disorders, and back pain.

Electrodermal activity – This will be used to measure sweating. This is often used to monitor anxiety and also pain.

Heart rate variability – This will be used to measure heart rate. This is often used to monitor anxiety, irregular heartbeat, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder.
